My name is James K. Smith, and I am the Broker/Owner of this company. I am hoping that this page may help navigate you through some of the services we provide, and familiarize you with my California Magic Real Estate.

Although technology has lowered the overhead cost for Real Estate and Mortgage companies to do business, that savings HAS NOT been passed on to the consumer.

I have been a Real Estate Agent since 1994. I received my Broker's License in early 2004, and started California Magic Real Estate in July of 2004 with the intent on providing FULL SERVICE REAL ESTATE AND LOAN PRODUCTS at a fraction of the cost. My company is primarily internet-based, and I conduct business throughout Northern California. I do most of my face-to-face meetings at the client's home, around the client's schedule.

THERE ARE SOOOOO MANY THINGS THAT THE CONSUMER IS NOT EDUCATED IN THIS BUSINESS. For decades, it has been common practice in Real Estate for Agents and Brokers to "protect information", and for decades it has cost the consumer money. I am, at the very least, trying to provide information enough information through my website in order for you to make an educated choice. It has proven in the past to come back to me with repeat business.
